Berwickshire's fishing sector; helping to streamline bureaucracy
faced by rural businesses, and farming in particular; in terms of
recognising the need for investment in flood defences; helping avert
ship-to-ship oil transfers in the Forth; and in tackling the scourge
of wildlife crime.

the Standards Committee from 2002 and a member of the Commonwealth
Parliamentary Association's Scottish Executive from its
establishment.
